Where we started
Amigos de los Rios is a non-profit committed to connecting the mountains to the sea, helping to provide equitable access to nature, and protecting our environment and urban communities from the threats of climate change in the Los Angeles Basin.
A 20 year-old organization with reliance on grant-funding and design fellows had updated their branding over the years, but didn’t have any sort of consistent style guide. My first mission was to create a style guide to unite the work of the natural infrustructure and office team.
Applying the visual identity across platforms
Following the newly created Amigos de los Rios brand guidelines, I was able to start updating assets including the monthly volunteer events calendar which is posted online and printed to bring to events.
